MAVIS CRACKNELL: stood for election in May 2010 as a Conservative Councillor in Surbiton Hill Ward where she is resident . Born in Kingston and went to Tiffin Girls’ School between 1953 and 1959. After leaving worked in the Civil Service until resigning to raise her son. After a period spent in living in Molesey and for 3 years in Holland, graduated from the Open University in Psychology and Sociology. Has worked for the OU for the last 20 years. PAUL JOHNSTON: Elected for Surbiton Hill in 1998. Former Chair of Housing and Cabinet Secretary for Housing and Consumer Protection (2000-1) and Environment and Regeneration (2001-2). Chair of Environment and Residents’ Services Overview Panels. Until May 2010 was Shadow Executive Member for Health and Adult Services, Vice-Chair of the Scrutiny Panel and Chair of the Housing Consultative Committee. Is now working as Liaison Officer for Kingston Federation of Residents’ Associations and is a committee member of School Lane and Ellerton Road RAs and an officer of Kingston & Surbiton Conservatives.

NICK KILBY: Elected for Surbiton Hill in 2006. Former Chairman of Surbiton Hill Conservatives and Officer of Kingston and Surbiton Conservative Association. Has a media and arts background and now works in public relations, running his own business. Formerly Shadow Executive Member for Housing and Children’s Social Services, Nick was, until May 2010 Shadow Executive Member for the One Council project.
